We imagined the office of the future.....high in the Empire State Building filled with Vitra's desking system......
Naturally, we thought Pussy Galore from Goldfinger deserved to lounge on Joseph Hoffmann's leather sofa from ICF.
Even though the Villa Gallia looks nothing today like it did when Joseph Hoffmann designed these chairs for it at the turn of the 20th century, we imagined that this could be what it could have looked like.
We partnered with Keilhauer to create a version of their Tom Chair which featured a set of three removable seat covers. Naturally we imagined it to furnish the most state of the art computer room which (in its day) was Eniac.
Bob Bliss, an Architect who designed a lot of furniture created a folding metal table from a single piece of painted aluminum. We set it in a pop up house.

We were Bulo's table series covered in stretched canvas which called to mind Rene Magritte's painting 'The Human Condition' of the arch and the sea.
We imagined Dr Seuss perched on Kartell's stepladder trying to hold Vitra's clock.
What could be more perfect for an Eskimo but to have a set of bright red Ron Arad plastic stacking chairs from Kartell in his igloo - they are easy to see and store where there's limited space and not much light.
All Spaces are Hard to Furnish REALfurniture initially launched with a miscellaneous collection of showroom samples from half a dozen furniture manufacturers. We realized that people would have trouble envisioning how to place the furniture in their apartments. So since we were virtual anyway, we decided to celebrate it in photoshop and imagine each item in a space that was fun and recognizable and obviously where no one could actually live.
When Vitra gave us their miniature chair collection, we thought it perfect to take on the long trip to the moon for future colonists.
